Akshaye Khanna Avoids Commenting On Disha Rape Case At Sab Kushal Mangal Trailer Launch
A while ago, makers of Sab Kushal Mangal, starring Padmini Kolhapure’s son Priyaank Sharma and Ravi Kishan’s daughter, Riva, launched the trailer. At the event, when Akshaye was asked to express his views on the Disha rape case, the actor ignored the question
Padmini Kolhapure and producer Pradeep Sharma’s son, Priyaank Sharma is making his debut with Ravi Kishan’s daughter, Riva in the Akshaye Khanna starrer, Sab Kushal Mangal. The team launched the film’s trailer today and present at the event was the entire cast with their families.
Amidst all the questions related to the film and the debut actors, when a journalist asked him to express his opinion on the Disha rape case, as every actor is doing so on social media and public events, strangely Akshaye chose to keep his comment to himself. Watch the video below:
Akshaye avoided to speak on the issue and said, “Aaj ka topic Sab Kushal Mangal Hai.” We wonder if this would spark off another controversy.
Talking about the case, it is the burning topic currently with a lot of anger and hurt instilled in the public. Amidst all this, Vikramaditya Motwane took a jibe at Kabir Singh director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, when he demanded that the culprits be punished brutally, via a tweet. Motwane had commented on his tweet by saying, “Will that FEAR stop them from slapping her?”
Motwane’s comment did not go down well with a few of the TV actresses like Dalljiet Kaur and Divyanka Tripathi. We spoke exclusively to both the actresses and they totally differed from Vikramaditya’s thought process. Both said that fiction should not be compared or mixed with a heinous real-life crime.
Coming to Akshaye Khanna’s comment, we, along with his numerous fans, expected the actor to speak up and not avoid the question.
